Clinical Hypnosis, Massage, Reflex Zone Therapy, Aromatherapy and Practicing Midwife
Sam is a practicing Midwife in the Bristol area and has completed a Diploma in Complementary Therapies for Midwives, which is accredited by The Royal College of Midwives.

Sam specialises in;

Clinical Hypnosis: for general relaxation and to support women with anxiety and emotional issues arising during or after pregnancy. Please note, this is not ?hypnotic-birthing?.

Reflex Zone Therapy:
based on the idea that pressure points on the feet represent a map of the whole body. This style of reflexology is more than a relaxing foot treatment, it aims to treat specific ailments or complaints. Manual manipulation and firm touch is used to aid relaxation and provide relief from pregnancy related conditions, such as nausea, vomiting, back pain, pelvic girdle pain, carpel tunnel syndrome, oedema, induction of labour, lactation issues and recovery from birth.

Aromatherapy and Massage:
using highly concentrated plant oils, aromatherapy and massage complement each other beautifully. The chemicals from the oils have a range of therapeutic properties which work holistically on both emotional and physical levels. Regular aromatherapy treatments during pregnancy can support labour in a positive way, the body is less stressed, which can have an impact on pain perception. Aromatherapy oils should always be used with caution and by a practitioner who has had appropriate training and insurance to treat women in pregnancy.

Labour Preparation:
For those babies who keep their excited expected parents waiting to meet them, Sam offers a course of treatment combining the above in a tailored package to meet theneeds of individual women. This can be for women whose pregnancies go over 40 weeks and is also suitable from 37 weeks as this is when pregnancy is considered term.

Baby Massage:
